Vistas reveal new track ‘Strong Swimmer’

Indie-rock outfit, Vistas have just revealed their brand new track, Strong Swimmer. Of the track, lead singer Prentice Robertson says, “We’re so excited to release Strong Swimmer to the world; it’s a real glimpse into the big bright bouncy sound we want to create. We can’t wait to get out and play it live over summer.” Strong Swimmer is currently sitting above Royal Blood and Lana Del Rey, on Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist today. You can check it out, here.  The follow-up track to Feel Alive is out now, and you can listen to it here.

Later this year sees Vistas cut their teeth on the live circuit. They are playing shows with both Clean Cut Kid and Model Aeroplanes, amongst several festivals over the Summer. These include Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival and Dorset’s Bestival. Earlier this month, Vistas supported The View at Glasgow’s iconic Barrowlands, and in the past year have played SOLD OUT launch nights at The Mash House and Electric Circus, both in Edinburgh.

The Edinburgh four-piece burst onto Scotland’s music scene last year, and have already been tipped by Spotify, as ‘one of the best new British bands of 2017’. Their latest track Feel Alive is currently sitting on Spotify’s ‘The Indie List’, and track Medicine is on the ‘New Noise’ and ‘Hot Alternative’ Spotify playlists. Vistas have also been featured as Spotify’s cover band on their ‘Hot New Bands’ playlist, and also been included on their New Music Friday playlist in both the UK and Brazil.
