The indie-pop outfit have recently wrapped a headline tour, around Scotland. They kicked things off at the Lemon Tree in Aberdeen on Wednesday, and wrapped things up at a sold out hometown show at The Mash House in Edinburgh.
This year has seen Vistas cut their teeth on the live circuit. The band went on their first co-headline tour with Derry-based 3-piece, TOUTS last month. In celebration of the release of their single Hold Me, they played a very special single launch show in the Summer at Urban Outfitters in Edinburgh, in association with Urban Outfitters Live. Vistas have also played shows supporting Clean Cut Kid, The View and Model Aeroplanes, and more recently festivals such as Neighbourhood Festival, Bestival and Tenement Trail.
The Edinburgh four-piece burst onto Scotland’s music scene late last year, and were tipped by Spotify, as ‘one of the best new British bands of 2017’. Their previous single Hold Me is currently sitting on Spotify’s ‘Feel Good Indie Rock’ (900k listeners), ‘Indie Roadtrip’ (219k listeners), ‘It’s ALT Good’ (178k) and Medicine is on the ‘New Noise’ (257k listeners) Spotify playlist. Vistas have also been featured as Spotify’s cover band on their ‘Hot New Bands’ playlist, and also been included on their New Music Friday playlists across the world, as well as the UK.
