Fresh from announcing their signing to Rude Records last week, the hotly tipped STAND ATLANTIC are proud to announce their new EP SIDEWINDER due 15th September.
To mark the occasion, the band have unleashed new single COFFEE AT MIDNIGHT in the form of a music video directed by Kieran Ellis-Jones. Lead vocalist/guitarist Bonnie Fraser says, “We wanted to show a more abstract/non linear story in the video of two people’s relationship, something that most people can relate to. Our director Kieran Ellis-Jones was great to work with and really brought everything to life.” Fans can watch the video here.

ABOUT STAND ATLANTIC
Stand Atlantic reign from the suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Upon inception in 2015, the high-school friends have gone strength-to-strength. With their demo EP gaining them attention across the country, Bonnie Fraser (Vocalist), Jonno Panichi (Drummer) and David Potter (Bassist) hit the road in 2016 supporting the likes of As It Is, With Confidence and This Wild Life. Bonnie says about the band’s debut single Coffee at Midnight: “Coffee at Midnight is about that feeling of desperately trying to cling onto something or someone VS finally letting go and realising that maybe it just wasn’t that great in the first place. We wanted to show a more abstract/non linear story in the video of two people’s relationship, something that most people can relate to. Our director Kieran Ellis-Jones was great to work with and really brought everything to life.” With the help of producer Stevie Knight (With Confidence) mixing engineer James Wisner (As It Is) and mastering engineer Grant Berry (BUSTED, Me VS Hero, Milestones), the band crafted forthcoming EP Sidewinder in late 2016. The EP offers a fresh blend of melodic hooks and power-driven instrumentals that allows them to sit atop of a currently saturated genre. With an honest lyrical nature at the core of the band’s foundations, Sidewinder is an EP that will undoubtedly move the band onto greater things. In 2017, Stand Atlantic signed with Rude Records and will be releasing Sidewinder on 15th September. The band will be touring domestically and internationally throughout the cycle. With relentless ability to move an audience, STAND ATLANTIC are tipped to be the next band to break through the Australian scene.
