SHADED have just announced they are off on a co-headline tour with fellow Common Ground label mates, Wolf Culture. They kick things off in Leeds at Singleshot on 5th October, and wrap things up at The Anvil in Bournemouth on 10th October. Shortly before this, they play Burn It Down Festival in Torquay on 1st September, with bands such as Mallory Knox, ROAM and more. Full live dates and further details can be found here.
The pop/punk 3-piece recently revealed their video for single Tell Me. The track is a blend of catchy melodies led by frontman Matt East’s soaring vocals, resulting in a Summery and upbeat anthem. Tell Me has already had great support from Spotify and has been added to playlists ‘Pop Punk’s Not Dead’ (279k followers), New Punk Tracks (95k followers), and ‘Fresh Finds: Six Strings’ (31k followers) The single was also added to Apple Music’s ‘Rise And Grind’ playlist. Of the single, Matt has said, Tell Me comes from a place in my previous relationship where I felt that there was a serious lack in communication. I spent so long over-thinking and being made to feel that I was solely and entirely at fault.
The video was created by Zak Pinchin, who has previously shot music videos for Mallory Knox, Rolo Tomassi and Holding Absence. The video sees the band performing in front of a wall of white and turquoise balloons, whilst Matt sings down a telephone. It’s a great introduction of what’s to come from SHADED.
