Having just finished touring with Twin Atlantic, including a 10,000 capacity sold out show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro, London five piece Eliza and the Bear have announced their biggest headline UK tour to date, including a show at London’s KOKO on October 7th. Tickets for the tour go on general sale on Friday May 15th, with fan pre sale tickets available on Wednesday May 13th.
Through support shows with the likes of Imagine Dragons and Paramore and their own headline tour, Eliza and the Bear have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with as a live band. As London In Stereo stated when reviewing their sold out O2 Academy Islington show last year – ‘big things are coming for the band‘.
Eliza and the Bear have also just unveiled the explosive video for new single ‘Make It On My Own’, out June 7th through Capitol Records. Recorded during recent album sessions at the renowned Blackbird Studios in Nashville with producer Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Of Monsters and Men, James Bay), ‘Make It On My Own’ is a huge leap forward for Eliza and the Bear.
Marking a clear evolution to a sound rich in defiant sing-a-long choruses, rousing trumpets and thumping arena sized drums, it’s a bold, confident statement by a band who have clearly found their space in the world.
