Reading & Leeds Festival veterans Don Broco return to the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage this August. The foursome are set to release their long-awaited new album ‘Automatic‘ this August – just in time for the Bank Holiday to roll around.
The new release sees the group expand on their musical horizons away from the gigantic rock sound of previous material. Though still rooted in crunching guitar sounds and sing-along choruses, the album sees them embrace pop, funk, dance and 80’s New Romanticism, alongside the upbeat rock drama for which they are known. This is no truer than in their latest single – also named ‘Automatic’ – which tips the hat to Prince as much to anyone else.
This will be five years in a row at the festival for the Bedfordshire band, and we cannot wait for their triumphant return!
