Counterfeit. have just revealed their brand new video for track, You Can’t Rely. It was co-directed by duo J/K, the same team who produced and edited The Prodigy’s video for track Nasty. Taken from debut album Together We Are Stronger, the track is a firm fan favourite, and always goes down a storm live. Of the track, Jamie Bower has said, “You Can’t Rely. This was the last song we wrote for Together We Are Stronger. The track focuses on the darkness that seems to weigh heavy on us as a band and the need to rise above it all. Thank you and we’ll see you in the pit. Counterfeit”. Watch the video here:
Counterfeit. are gearing up to support Don Broco at London’s historic Alexandra Palace, on Saturday 11th November. This will be the band’s biggest show yet! No strangers to the live circuit, Counterfeit. wrapped up a European and UK headline tour earlier this year to celebrate the release of their debut album, which included a riotous set at Camden’s Underworld. The band also played a string of festivals around Europe in the Summer. As well as hitting European territories, Counterfeit. performed at Slam Dunk Festival in the UK for the first time, and made their debut at the renowned Reading and Leeds Festival last weekend.
The punk/rock five-piece have received consistent radio support, including from Dan Carter on Radio 1’s Rock Show, across all singles taken from album Together We Are Stronger. Dan has interviewed Counterfeit. at festivals including Slam Dunk and Reading, culminating in the band launching Rocktober last weekend, with a 4 song live Maida Vale session. Listen back here.
Together We Are Stronger is available to buy in both CD and vinyl format, and to stream and download at all platforms. The 10-track album was produced by Thomas Mitchener (Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Dead!) and recorded at Broadfields Studio. Together We Are Stronger is full of punk-rock flair and showcases front-man Jamie’s raw and honest vocals. The album went straight into the Top 20 Indie Chart and reached number 6 in the Indie Breakers and Rock & Metal Charts.
