American hardcore outfit Beartooth will continue their whirlwind year on the road with tours across the UK and North America this Autumn. Appearing at Reading & Leeds festivals this weekend, the band have today announced a UK return for the band’s biggest headline shows to date, including a night at London’s Electric Ballroom.
“We can’t wait to get back to the UK for some headline shows,” said Beartooth front man Caleb Shomo. “It’s been way too long! No better way to end the year then with some loud rock shows.” The UK dates will follow on from a series of North American shows with Atreyu
and a run with Slipknot
that includes a slot on Southern California’s Knotfest on Oct. 25.Beartooth is touring in support of their debut album ‘Disgusting’
, out now via Red Bull Records. Written, performed and produced by 22 year-old Shomo, ‘Disgusting’
shares equal inspiration with brutal metalcore as with old-school punk like The Ramones and the bombastic theatricality of Queen. The end result is a back-to-basics hardcore stomp interspersed with anthemic choruses like those in ‘In Between
’. Both ‘Disgusting’
and ‘In Between’
have reached #1 on the UK iTunes Metal charts, and the band have now sold over 60,000 albums and had over 15 Million streams on Spotify alone.
