Following a European headline tour which took in huge shows in Germany, Italy, Austria and Switzerland through September/October, ARCANE ROOTS launched their brand new ‘Heaven and Earth‘ EP last night at a sold out to the rafters Dingwalls in London. Released on bands new label Sony Red/Easy Life, ‘Heaven and Earth’ is out today, October 16th.
Having launched the campaign with an exclusive in the studio feature with The Independent, the band have also seen first single ‘If Nothing Breaks, Nothing Moves’ get huge reaction across Radio 1, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio and has the band directed video as track/video of the week on Scuzz TV – VIDEO
New single ‘Slow Dance’ launched as Radio 1 Rock Show Rockest Record/Track of the Week in late September, and was played in full (5 and a half minutes) the next morning on Radio 1 by Clara Amfo and then Annie Mac.
Today (Oct 16th) the band will be playing a special intimate set at Banquet Records (6pm) and tomorrow start a UK tour with Fightstar at The Troxy in East London. They will then play a collection of rescheduled headline dates in mid November, with more big UK touring news to be announced in the coming week or two. Watch this space.
