DAVE HAUSE, will kick off the UK leg of his current tour in support of brand new album, entitled Bury Me In Philly.
You can stream the record below:
The album was co-produced by Eric Bazilian, the guitar player and songwriter/vocalist for Philadelphia band The Hooters, who Hause calls, “a childhood local hero,” along with William Wittman, producer & engineer of albums by Mick Jagger, Cyndi Lauper, and countless others artists.
Dave Hause is often referred to as “The songwriter’s song writer”; here’s what a few of his contemporaries have to say about him and his music:
“From his work with the Loved Ones to his solo stuff, Dave Hause is a consistently passionate and engaging songwriter. He brings a sense of urgency to the page (and stage) that takes from the last 50 years of rock and roll and still sounds new and unique. Dave’s songs and performances should not be missed. Plus, he looks cool!” – Craig Finn / The Hold Steady
“I’ve been sharing stages and singing with Dave Hause for 8 years now and he’s still teaching me things I didn’t know. A true diamond in the punk rock rough.” – Frank Turner
“To play music is not just about one record or one show, it’s about whether you have the grit to keep going. I’ve played music long enough now to recognize the lifers and the tourists. Seeing the energy in which Dave Hause plays music, his ability to connect with a crowd, and listening to the depth of his songwriting, one realizes that his name is still going to be on that marquis in your town long after the tourists are gone.” – Tim McIllrath / Rise Against
“It has truly been an honor to watch such an incredible person become such an incredible artist.” – Matt Skiba / Alkaline Trio & Blink 182
