Fresh from releasing their critically acclaimed second EP SUMMER OF LUV via Killing Moon, Leeds band FIZZY BLOOD are proud to unveil a live video for current single SUMMER OF LUV. A glimpse into their busy 2017 so far, the video was filmed at London’s The Dome in April when the band supported Sheffield titans While She Sleeps.
“2017 has been a very kind year to us. The opportunities we’ve taken have forced us to work harder than ever before and we are better for it. Touring with bands of the calibre of While She Sleeps really pushed us to step up our game in the way we run the band and how we perform live, it was a real eye opener in that respect.
In terms of highlights I think I speak for all of us when I say playing Reading & Leeds Festival was the big one, just for the bucket list. It’s a festival that has roots running deep in all of of our musical beginnings and it was an incredible experience finally being able to be a part of it.
We’re rounding off this memorable year in our careers with a few more amazing tours and time back in the studio. We’re all really excited about what will happen next for Fizzy Blood and hope that 2018 will be just as up for it as we are”
FIZZY BLOOD are showing no signs of slowing down, with an October UK run supporting Arcane Roots followed by a further support stint to fellow Leeds band Dinosaur Pile-Up.
Other live highlights this year include Reading & Leeds festivals, SXSW, touring with While She Sleeps, Download Festival, 2000 Trees, The Great Escape and Tramlines Festival.
